\n“Folk talk,” the fisherman shrugged. “And there ain’t much happens ’round here that goes unnoticed.” He hesitated, then added, “There’s places along this coast best left alone, master. Places where the Spanish ghost walks.”
\n“Spanish ghost?” Dee kept his tone casual, though his interest was immediately piqued.
\nThe old man nodded solemnly. “Been seen these past few months, up on the cliffs by moonlight. Tall shadowy figure, foreign-like. Some say he guards something valuable. Others say he’s searching for something lost.” He leaned closer still. “Whatever it is, there’s them that went looking and never came back.”
\n“Do you know where this ghost is seen most often?”
