<\/a>Back in 2018-2019 I was commuting to work by car, about 1 hour each direction. This was in the Calgary area of Alberta, Canada. Most of the roads I travelled were long, straight, and 2-lanes in each direction, with minimal other traffic \ud83d\ude00 <\/p>\n I had time to listen … and to think.<\/p>\n What I listened to, avidly, was the podcast by David Crowther, called The History of England<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n I had begun writing my novel, Predestination<\/em>, back in 2014, but it languished on the back-burner, as life and work took most of my time.
