Predestination: The Bloodstone of Boiorix

Predestination

King Henry VIII is dead. Long live King Edward — but for how long?

England, 1553. As the Tudor dynasty teeters on the brink, the young king lies dying and the realm faces religious and political chaos. Into this powder keg steps scholar Dr John Dee, who stumbles upon a clue to the location of the legendary Bloodstone of Boiorix – a gem rumoured to hold the key to the King’s survival and England’s future.

Partnering with Jack, an escaped galley slave with a talent for trouble, and Kat, a mysterious adventuress with secrets of her own, the team follows the trail from the corridors of power to ancient hidden chambers beneath London’s streets. The puzzle is intricate, the enemies are powerful, and the clock is running out.

In Tudor England, history is decided not by kings alone – but by those who dare to act when it matters most.

What readers say

“I read this on kindle and am now buying the paperback, I want to read it again. It is a marvellous read, so much history included yet it flows well. I can’t wait for the 2nd and a 3rd books to come. I read a lot of historical fiction and this is up there with the best.”

“A very enjoyable read, real people from history woven into an historic thriller. I found this a page turner and hope there will be more to come. If you don’t normally read history based tales give this one a go.”

Mrs Sarah Louise Cumber – Amazon ⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Story line good, interesting to the last page. Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next book.”

M.W.Watkinson – Amazon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Beautiful use of language. Very readable.”

Teresa – Amazon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“I really enjoyed the book. A lot of historical references, most I feel are accurate (not a historian). A Discovery of Witches trilogy does the same, and that writer is a historian. One quote made me question accuracy ‘dead cat bounce’ was first used in the 1980s. The characters are well fleshed out and follow their arc with little deviation from expectations. As does the storyline. After the halfway mark, the book really draws you in.”
